Two-compartment lacquer Inro with makiè decoration and mother-of-pearl Ogai inlay.
A kabuto is depicted on one side and a floral decoration on the opposite side.
Deer horn netsuke in the shape of an open chrysanthemum and the ojime in probable resin simulating coral.
It probably belonged to a Samurai.
Size of the inro only: 8 x 8 x 2 cm.
Ojime size: 1.8 cm.
Netsuke size: 4 x 1 cm.
Total size with cord taut: 20 cm.
