ANTIQUE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN VASE – DAOGUANG MARK AND PERIOD
Chinese porcelain vase dating to the Daoguang period. The vase is painted with a band of lotus and band of floral scroll all above a band of stylized waves and lappets accenting the foot. The shoulders with animal head and ring handles done in relief. The underside is marked with a Daoguang mark and it is of the period. The porcelain stands 7 inches tall and displays well. The vase would originally have been taller with the neck no longer present and shoulder polished when made into a lamp. The underside drilled at the time. Comes with carved openwork cover.
