is a very rare and important c1820 Chinese Imperial Daoguang mark & period copper-red flambe glazed Yuhuchunping porcelain vase. This vase is a stunning example that is fully guaranteed to be of the Daoguang mark & period. The vase is part of a prominent estate collection being offered and has been in the family’s collection for at least 50 years.

The vase has a wonderful Yunuchunping early vase form that I believe is one of the finest and most elegant forms ever created. The glaze is a superb and rich copper-red.

The glaze is perfectly consistent all around the vase and from top to bottom with absolutely no color variations or other defects. I would say about as perfect and consistent as one could ever hope to ever find. The vase has a fine white glazed upper rim and base. The vase could use a light cleaning and is otherwise in very fine condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. I have also closely inspected this vase under UV black light that reveals absolutely no damage or repairs of any kind. The vase measures 11 3/4 inches tall, by 7 inches wide. The vase on stand measures 13 1/4 inches tall.

The vase has some old collection labels to the base including a Sotheby’s, Parke, and Bernet label where I am told the vase was purchased around 50 years ago.
