LARGE LONGQUAN SUNFLOWER CHARGER, YONGLE PERIOD (1403-1425)

Heavily potted and raised on a tall straight foot, the
shallow circular interior rising towards a wide smooth
rim and decorated with a sunflower spray in the
cavetto and surrounded by swirling leaves, and
covered in a thick and even celadon glaze throughout,
diameter 14.1” — 35.7 cm.
